From the 1st of January 1999, Singapore Network Information Centre (SGNIC) Pte Ltd, will be giving a S$10 rebate for the annual maintenance fee, hence, reducing it from S$ 75 to S$ 65. The rebate is SGNIC's way of thanking registrants who have been registered with SGNIC for over one year, and also gives SGNIC a chance to pass on cost savings due to lower man power costs during the economic crisis wage cuts.
The reduced rate will be effective for one full year (i.e. from 1st January 1999 to December 30th 1999). Registrants, who have already paid their annual maintenance fee(s), will benefit from this discount during the next annual maintenance payment.
