Starting 18 April 2007, SGNIC will begin accepting applications for 'Temasek' Prefixed domain names. Applications will be accepted for the period of 18 April 2007 to 16 May 2007. Previously, 'Temasek' Prefixed domain names were reserved by SGNIC and not available for registration.

For this Special Launch, all registered trademark holders, well-known mark holders, government bodies and existing registrants will be given priority in that order, to register their names in the various categories. Applicants may submit their application for 'temasek' Prefixed domain names in the .sg, org.sg, net.sg, edu.sg, gov.sg and per.sg categories.

All applications received during the Special Launch will then be processed as a batch and not on a first-come-first-served basis. Please refer to the fact sheet below for more details of the implementation plan.

Acceptance of objection to allocation decision

Should there be competing applications by parties within the highest priority group for the same domain name, SGNIC will allocate the name via bidding. Parties interested to register for 'Temasek'Prefixed domain names may do so with any of the nine SGNIC accredited registrars. Registrar details may be found at this link.
