SGNIC, in partnership with Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) and our accredited registrars Cybersite Services Pte Ltd and Exabytes Network (Singapore) Pte Ltd, will be participating in the IP Ecosystem Fair of IP Week @ SG 2016. The event is held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Cassia Ballroom, Level 3 from 23 to 24 August 2016.
IP Week @ SG is jointly organised by IPOS, IP Academy, IPOS International and IP ValueLab. An annual event well attended by delegates from around the world, 2016 marks the fifth run of IP Week @ SG. themed at “Powering the Innovation Cycle through IP”.
This year’s theme is “Powering the Innovation Cycle through IP” and a suite of IP-centric events will be held during IP Week with highlights such as The Global Symposium and IP Ecosystem Fair. The Global Symposium is set out to feature thought provoking IP talks on how IP has become an invaluable asset to driving innovation. The IP Ecosystem Fair is open to the public and serves as a one-stop platform for the ‘Best of Class’ IP intermediaries and service providers to showcase their business. Attendees can look forward to solutions provided by the exhibitors as well as a series of complimentary talks in line with this year’s theme.
At the SGNIC's booth 18 at the IP Ecosystem Fair, there will be domain name experts who will guide and advise to businesses and brand owners on how to build an iInternet presence from registration of a domain name, hosting, building of website, and to protection of your Intellectual Property in cyberspace.
